In the Heart

In the heart there is a garden,

in that garden a new grave.

Life departed grants a pardon;

Love the guilty came to save.

Primal beauty of creation

much more beautiful became

through the Gift of this Oblation,

through the Glory of this Name.

Where the tree of good and evil

cast its shadow on the ground,

now the cross of the Redeemer

lightens everything around.

Those who mourned are now rejoicing

in the rising of the Son;

from each heart, with praises voicing:

“Mercy triumphs. Love has won.”

  1. As usual, you put voice to many things as I think of them and this is no exception. This is just beautiful and serene. Just love your work.
